College of medicine youth development mentors (COMYODS) has today announced their partnership with My Community My Responsibility (MCMRO) a charitable organization which aims to alleviate vulnerability and suffering of vulnerable people.
MCMRO is helping elderly people in Lilongwe for the fight against Covid-19 by distributing re-usable face masks.
The organization director Brian Khembo said this will boost their rapid response to project which aims at addressing community impacts of covid 19 with digital mental health to the youth feeling isolated.
Through their expertise, we want to engage people to understand the challenges they are facing in regards to the pademic and what international we may put in place to ensure they are better equipped with accurate information and the necessary resources in preventing the spread of Covid 19.
My community my responsibility (MCMRO) publicity secretary Franco Mwachande said the partnership is of significant as the COMYODS group is composed of doctors which will help MCMRO group as they will be providing health information as well as funds to help them deal with Covid 19.
