Police in Thyolo have arrested a 20-year-old Ernest Jubeki for allegedly murdered Davison Wailo at Mutuwa bar in the district.
It is alleged that Jubeki was working as a DJ at Mutuwa Bar in Mapondo village in the district.
According to Chanveka Chambo, an uncle to the deceased, said Wailo went to Mutuwa bar to drink beer.
After he get drunk, he started dancing and while in the process of dancing he pushed one of the speakers due to drunkenness. This annoyed Jubeki who in turn stabbed Wailo on the stomach and he died upon arrival at Thyolo district hospital.
Postmortem conducted at Thyolo district hospital revealed that death was due to severe internal bleeding.
Jubeki will appear before the court of law soon to answer the charge of murder.
Jubeki comes from Mapondo village in the area of Traditional Authority Chimaliro in Thyolo.
