The Malawi electoral commission has announced results for by elections that took place in the country’s eastern and southern region respectively.
MEC chairperson Dr Chifundo Kachale said the results were announced following thorough verification and analysing of all queries and grievances.
The elections have seen independent candidates emerging winners in the 2 out the three constituencies a development Kachale described as a way forward towards development and democracy.
