In a bid to prevent further spread of COVID-19 and as a way of honoring social responsibility, the Chinese community has donated 5000 medical facemasks to Limbe Police.
Speaking after the donation, Vice President of the Chinese community, Ai Juan Xin said they decided to donate the masks to protect officers from the pandemic.
He also commended the good working relationship that exists between them and the police. He added that this is just the beginning and that officers should expect more of this kind.
In his remarks, the Officer-In-Charge of Limbe Police Station, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Timothy Phiri, thanked the Chinese Community for the timely donation.
He said this will go a long way in assisting officers in the fight and prevention of the deadly pandemic. On this, the Officer-In-Charge prayed for a continued good relationship.
