The Malawi Defence Force (MDF) wishes to inform all those that were shortlisted to attend interviews for Basic Recruits Training that the interviews will take place from Monday 15th February 2021 to Wednesday 24th February 2021 at the following designated recruitment centres:
Mzuzu Upper Stadium in the Northern Region, Lilongwe Community Centre Ground in the Central Region and Zomba Gymkana Club Ground in the Southern Region. Applicants should take note that an intensive medical examination will form part of the interviews.
Successful candidates will immediately be ferried to Malawi Armed Forces College in Salima from the recruitment centres. Dates for recruitment per district are as follows:

All shortlisted applicants are to report for the interviews on the dates indicated for their districts. Failure to report on the stipulated dates will be assumed that the candidate is no longer interested in joining the defence force. Applicants are further reminded to bring original academic and professional certificates and National Identity (ID) Cards for the interviews. They should also bring enough sports attire.
Candidates should take note that travel expenses will not be reimbursed. Names of the shortlisted candidates were already published in the media and were also forwarded to the offices of District Commissioners throughout the country.
