There was drama at the High court yesterday as witnesses whom the State has been pushing to incriminate Norman Chisale the former bodyguard of President Mutharika told the court that they do not want to be part of this case.
The case which the State is pursuing is linked to the shooting that took place last year and none of the boys involved was hurt.
The mother of the boys told the court that she was called by police and offered her money so that her and the children incriminates Chisale of which she refused.
When she refused police officers were bitter and called her names including alleging that she is a girlfriend of Chisale and that Chisale gave her K1 million.
She is currently asking women rights organisations to help her come out of this and clear her name she told the court.
She has vowed never to come again in court next time when called on this case as well as her children.
The boys were asked to testify and they have denied any knowledge of the statement that was read in the court today by the state. Meanwhile the state has asked the Judge to temporarily adjourn the hearing as they want to consult.
