The Lilongwe Chief Resident Magistrate Violet Chipawo has granted bail to MERA former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Collins Magalasi, former MERA spokesperson Patrick Maulidi and Magalasi’s business partner Dorothy Shonga, also known as Cash Madame.

The trio have been ordered to pay K500,000 bail bond each, provide sureties at K5 million non cash each.
They must not leave Lilongwe without knowledge of the court, must be appearing to Area 30 police headquarters in every two weeks, once, among others.
