The Vice President of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) a member of the rulling Tonse Alliance, Hon Sidik Mia together with Moses Kunjuyu welcomed Independent Parliamentarian for Balaka North – Tony Ngalande to the party.
Tony Ngalande was formerly a die hard to the People’s Party (PP) under the leadership of Her Excellency Dr Joyce Banda – Former President of Malawi.
The grand welcoming ceremony of Mr Ngalande was held at Balaka Stadium under strict management to Covid19 preventive measures.
In his first speech after joining the MCP, Tony Ngalande MP assured his constituents that he will keep serving them under the leadership of Tonse Alliance whose leaders are the President Dr Lazarus Chakwera and his Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima.
Other MCP’s new catch in the Eastern region are Joseph Daniel of Chimwalire ward Formerly DPP, Byson Gondwa from Utale ward Formerly DPP and Micheal Sauka Junior from Nkhonde ward Formerly DPP.
