The Confederation of African Football CAF has announced to all Associations affiliated to the body on the new Total Africa Cup of Nations and Federation of International Football Association Fifa World Cup qualifiers new dates.
The Development comes barely a month after CAF Executive Committee met on the 30th June 2020 to postpone the final tournament of the Total Afcon,Cameroon 2021 to January 2022.
According to the statement which Malawi Metro News has seen, the new dates of the qualifiers of the total Afcon 2021 and Fifa World cup Qatar 2022 are as follows:
Fifa International Window 5-13 October 2020 Available to National Association,
9-17 November2020 matchday 3-4 total Afcon 2021,
22-30 March 2021 match day 5&6 total Afcon 2021,
31May-15June 2021 match day1&2 Fifa WC 2022,
30 August-7September 2021 match day 3&4 Fifa WC 2022,
4-12 October2021 match day 5&6 Fifa WC 2022 and from 8-16 November 2021 it will be Knock out matches Fifa WC.
