278 students and 5 members of staff who tested positive for Covid-19 at Lilongwe Girls Secondary School have now tested negative.
This comes barely two days after the students who were in isolation marched in a quest to force authorities to do a fresh test upon completing their days in isolation.
In a memo which Metro Online has seen, all students plus members of staff that tested positive for Covid19 have now recovered.
Meanwhile, the ministry of education has maintained that all students in boarding schools should remain in their respective campuses.
Last week, 11 out of 12 students who tested positive for Covid19 at Bandawe Girls Secondary School also recovered from the pandemic.
The Ministry of Education has also indicated that 29 students from Nkhotakota Secondary School have recovered thus far.
