The Bible Society of Malawi says it is geared to make prices of bibles in the country affordable.
This has been revealed at the third raffle draw that BSM conducted today at Chichiri Shopping Mall in Blantyre.
This is part of fundraising initiative the society is conducting to raise funds for the construction of Jireh Bible House in Lilongwe.
According to Rabson Mgawi, Chairperson for the Fundraising Initiative at BSM, the society intends to sell 10 thousand tickets of which each is being sold at 5000 kwacha.
Speaking to Metro Online, Mgawi expressed excitement with the patronage people have shown in the initiative as so far over 20 million Kwacha worth of tickets have been sold.
Mgawi said at the completion of the Jireh Bible House, the society will have enough funds hence relatively affecting the cost of bibles in the country.
One lucky winner stands a chance of winning a Mercedes Benz E250-in a grand draw which will take place on 3rd July 2021.
