An International evangelist Andrew Palau has organised a three-day gospel festival called ‘Love Malawi Festival’ scheduled to take place in Blantyre.
Addressing the media this morning, Palau said he wants to reach out to many people with the gospel.
General Secretary for Evangelical Association of Malawi, Reverend Francis Mkandawire said the festival has come at a right time, now that Malawi is going through a lot of social decay.
“At a time when there are so many cases of suicide, defilement, and corruption, this festival seeks to restore hope among Malawians,” Mkandawire said.
The festival will take place from 1- 3 October and will be free of charge.
This will be the second Love Malawi Festival to take place in Malawi since the first one was hosted in Lilongwe in 2016.
There will be various activities at the festival including music show, extreme sports, childrens’ activities, community outreach, and ministering the word of God.
One of the performing artists at the show is the renowned International gospel artist, Don Moen.
